Mr. Louis Leung is a senior Project Manager with Public Safety Canada. Mr. Leung is a PMP with over 15 years of project management experience in both the privates sector and the federal government. Over the past 5 years, Mr. Leung has been specializing in the area of building PMOs and setting up EPM (Enterprise Project Management) solutions. In his spare time he enjoys walking his pet dog and improving his Taekwondo and photography skills.

 

Christopher Smith - SOMOS Consulting Group

 

Christopher Smith has over 21 years of public and private sector experience working on information technology and engineering projects at all stages of the project management lifecycle. From requirements definition to the alignment of projects with strategic business objectives, Mr. Smith has proven experience in project management process development as well as directly supporting project planning and delivery. He is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), Prince 2 and MS Project Professional Certified Technician. He has spent the past 7 years implementing MS Project server and supporting the client's evolution with and through the development of the tool's functionality.

 

Claude Châteauvert - SOMOS Consulting Group

 

Claude Châteauvert is an IT Consultant providing business solutions for 16 years to private and public sector clients; Recognized by Microsoft as an expert in Enterprise Project Management, Knowledge Management, Collaboration, Gold Security, Active Directory, Network Infrastructure, TCP/IP, Information Worker Solutions, Storage Solutions, and Client Deployments. In his spare time he enjoys time with his daughter and improving his martial arts and gaming skills.

 

 

Description:

This presentation provides insights into the critical success factors involved in the implementation of EPM 2007 and 2010 as part of business transformation. From the development of a Roadmap, this journey addresses the involvement and evolution of process, tools and people to reach successful project and portfolio management capabilities. Views presented are from the client and the consultant sides drawing attention to the priorities and the dynamics involved in the various phases and evolution of the tool and the organization.
